St Rule
Home away from home
Family is at the heart of this home away from home. Our dedicated St Rule Housemaster lives in the boarding house with his wife and their three children, while our team of resident and non-resident House Tutors encourages a sense of community from day one. The social spaces have undergone a complete refurbishment, creating cosy yet fresh and modern areas where boarders can spend their free time and enjoy a wide range of house activities.
Relaxation and socialising
Weekends feature a packed programme of trips, games and sports, plus time to relax in house or “up town” with friends from across the UK and around the world. Meals are enjoyed together with boarders from the fellow houses in Restaurant 1877 (our on-site dining hall), although there are still plenty of opportunities to share recipes in house and tuck into an informal brunch at the weekends.
