Model United Nations
16 December 2025
It has been a strong term for the St Leonards MUN delegation, with pupils attending two conferences and achieving several notable awards.
North Berwick Conference – 14 November 2025
The North Berwick conference was a highlight of the term. Cecily P in Year 11 received the Honourable Delegate Award and described the day as “intellectually stimulating and enjoyable.” Delegates took part in a full day of debate and discussion, met pupils from other schools and built confidence ahead of StLMUN Conference in March.
St George’s Conference
The St George’s conference brought further success. Rory M in Year 12 was awarded Best New Delegate in the Health Committee, and Max B in Year 11 received Best Delegate in the Space Committee. They were supported on the day by fellow delegates Cecily P, Eva S, Jos M and Tristan C.
Throughout the day, pupils debated a range of global issues and contributed to discussions in the General Assembly, demonstrating thoughtful argument and strong teamwork. Interest in St Leonards’ own conference was high, with many delegates keen to attend and taking away details about StLMUN.
