Outstanding IB Career-related Programme and BTEC Results for Class of 2026
13 August 2026
The Class of 2026 achieved an average of 145 UCAS points, equivalent to AAA at A-Level or BBB at Scottish Advanced Higher, marking another strong year for pupils completing the IB Career-related Programme and BTEC qualifications at St Leonards.
78% of the graduating class have secured places at higher education institutions, with destinations including the University of Minnesota, Jacksonville State University and Webber International University in the US, the Universities of Strathclyde and Stirling in Scotland and Mountview Academy of Dramatic Arts in London.
A special congratulations goes to Martin, who led the cohort with an impressive 186 UCAS points, equivalent to AAA at A-Level. He will continue his studies at the University of Minnesota after the summer.
The IB Career-related Programme at St Leonards combines practical, career-focused learning with two or three IB Diploma courses, alongside service learning, language development and real-world skills. The programme gives pupils the flexibility to pursue their individual interests while developing a strong academic foundation for university, further study and their future careers.
This year’s results reflect the hard work and commitment of the graduating class throughout their time at St Leonards, as well as the breadth of opportunities now open to them.
Congratulations to the entire Class of 2026 as they prepare for the next chapter.
