St Leonards is the perfect place for any aspiring young rider. In partnership with a family-run Equestrian Centre situated just 10 minutes from the school’s campus – St Leonards pupils benefit from the class leading facilities available as well as experienced equestrian professionals.

Lessons take place after school and at weekends for all levels of rider. Whether you are aspiring to ride at the very top level or having only the basics in place, there is something for everyone and sessions are tailored according to the abilities of each rider. The  St Leonards equestrian programme is focused on progression and fun. Each student is individually accessed on their riding ability and then carefully paired with their equine partner.  Lesson numbers are restricted to ensure a high level of tuition and the riding school horses and ponies are handpicked for their excellent temperaments. The teaching staff possess a wealth of experience and are all fully qualified.

Students may bring their own horses to school in order to develop their riding skills over the academic year. Their horse stays on full livery at the equestrian centre for the duration of the academic year.  St Leonards students can also arrange to loan a horse for their personal use, for the academic year.

The Equestrian Centre

St Leonards students are able to take advantage of the fact that the owners are serious and committed horse owners, who have built up a quality facility. Someone is always at hand to provide friendly knowledgeable assistance if required.
