Fintan Bonner is Director of Golf at St Leonards. He has overseen the growth of the St Leonards Golf Programme, which now has six tiers and provides a progressive pathway from grassroots to elite level golfers.

In addition to his role at St Leonards, Fintan is a Senior Instructor at the St Andrews Links Golf Academy and is one of the four Scottish Regional Performance coaches. He is a PGA Level 3 certified practitioner, a UKCC Level 3 qualified professional, a Class AA PGA Professional, and also K-Vest 3D and BodiTrak certified. Prior to taking up this position, he was a coach at Black Bush Golf Club in Ireland.

Fintan started playing golf at a young age, achieving a wide range of successes as an amateur. As a junior, he was selected to be a member of the Leinster Elite Panel and was chosen to represent his province in Ireland on numerous occasions. At University College Dublin, Fintan achieved a Diploma in Sports Management and went on to graduate with a BA (Hons) degree in Accounting and Human Resource Management at National College of Ireland. He was awarded a golf scholarship at both universities and was a member of the winning team that clinched the Irish University Championship two years in a row.

As a Neuro-Linguistic Programming Practitioner and highly sought-after coach, Fintan delivers world-class instruction through a combination of strategic analysis, cutting-edge technology, and effective communication. His coaching career has seen him accompany players to tournaments all over the world including European Tour events, Challenge Tour Events, the US Kids World Championships and the Jack Bunny Tour Finals in Japan. Finally, Fintan is a Custom Fit specialist, having trained with some of the top customisation experts in the world.
