At St Leonards we give our pupils every opportunity to take full advantage and express their creative urges.  Art & Design isn’t just a part of the timetabled curriculum, it is offered to both Junior and Senior pupils as a co-curricular activity, with an Art club also taking place on Saturday mornings.

The School hosts two exhibitions every year, at which the art of the pupils is made available for public viewing. The exhibitions take place in the School’s two impressive art studios. Even when those events aren’t taking place, a walk around these inspiring spaces reveals the creativity which is brought to life by our pupils on a daily basis.

Prize winners

St Leonards pupils are encouraged to carry on their artistic endeavours once the school day has ended. They have enjoyed particular success in the Kodak Cup, a competition organised by St Andrews Photographic Society and open to all local school children and Society members, and more recently in Rotary Young Photographer of the Year, which is a national competition.
