Tom Morris Scholar 2025/26

Congratulations to Finlay in Year 13, who has been awarded the 2025/26 Tom Morris Scholarship.

The scholarship follows a string of recent successes for Finlay, including a tied third at the Stephen Gallacher Foundation Fairmont event and a tied first at the Junior Tour Scotland competition in Portlethen.

Introduced in 2017, the St Leonards Tom Morris Scholarship recognises exceptional talent, achievement and dedication to the game of golf. Named after four-time Open Champion Tom Morris, the award is a mark of excellence within the Golf Academy programme, which is proudly delivered in partnership with St Andrews Links Trust, and is highly regarded in university and college scholarship applications worldwide.

The award was presented by Sheila Walker, great-great-granddaughter of Tom Morris, alongside Director of Golf, Fintan Bonner, and Head of St Leonards, Simon Brian. A strong reflection of Finlay’s commitment and success within the Golf Academy.
