The Community Project

All Year 9 pupils at St Leonards undertake an extended community project, bringing together the threads of their three-year MYP learning journey. Pupils must identify a need on a local, national or international level, propose an action, and seek to make a meaningful difference.

I enjoyed the ability to maintain a number of different subjects at a time when I wasn’t certain what I wanted to do next. Now I’m planning to go to the University of Edinburgh to study Mathematics.

Sixth Form Subjects
Pupils choose six academic subjects – three at Higher Level (HL) and three at Standard Level (SL) from a selection of subject groups. Our dedicated Sixth Form team and Deputy Head (Academic) are on hand to support and advise students with subject choices.
