Our parents describe St Leonards as a "unique place" – what other school in the UK enjoys a more perfect setting?

Where else can you stroll through a campus that has served as a place of learning since the 16th century, past impressive ruins of a medieval cathedral, along glorious blue flag beaches and on to the first tee of the most famous golf course in the world?

Set on Scotland’s beautiful Fife coastline, St Andrews is renowned for its university, its status as “the home of golf”, its historic sites and its charming outlook – all of which our pupils can enjoy. Our pupils engage within this inspirational community, to which scholars from across the globe come to share ideas,  giving our pupils a sense of internationalism and culture.

St Leonards is fortunate to enjoy close links with the University of St Andrews, exemplified by the annual appointment of an Associate Researcher to guide our pupils on the world of research.

"St Leonards is like a mini university in a beautiful university town," - St Leonards pupil

A cosmopolitan town that is small enough to get to know intimately and yet large enough to provide all the facilities that young people can enjoy,  St Andrews provides a stimulating and safe haven in which to live and learn.

Location

St Andrews is well served by public transport and is conveniently located just 20 minutes from Dundee, one hour from Edinburgh and 90 minutes from Glasgow. Edinburgh and Glasgow have major international airports and Dundee has regular flights to and from London.
