Our Years 7 to 9 pupils splashed into Spring Term with a refreshing dip in St Andrews Bay! Dips - or 'dooks' as they are known in Scotland - have become a firm favourite in the termly calendar at St Leonards, with those pupils who wish running into the waves at the East Sands with friends before warming up for the day.
The IB Middle Years Programme pupils were faced with a particularly low tide, making for a longer walk into the water, but many gamly took part, with some running in multiple times!
They were joined by members of staff including the Head, Mr Brian, who has become a regular dooker down at the neighbouring beach and gamely gets involved each time!
What a brilliant way to make the most of our spectacular seaside location.
