19.06.20 : Superb Sandcastles

This year, whilst the Junior School pupils were unable to gather on East Sands to build their sandcastles in mixed-age teams, we were nevertheless impressed by their creative and imaginative constructions as part of the Sandcastle Challenge. The pupils fashioned fantastic sand sculptures by themselves or with their siblings on nearby beaches and in their back gardens, whilst those who were unable to source sand used cardboard to construct their fortresses. The entries included a Castle of Magic, a bunny rabbit, a scared swimmer being chased by a shark, as well as lots of imposing castles complete with moats, flagpoles, and battlements.

Well done to all the pupils who took part!
