At the end of the Summer Term, the pupils in Years 1-6 headed down to the East Sands, armed with buckets and spades, for the annual St Leonards Sandcastle Competition. The teams worked together to construct and decorate some superb sandcastle and sand sculptures in the summer sunshine. It really was a lovely way to end the term.
It was wonderful to be able to return to some degree of 'normality' in these past few weeks and months. The end of Summer Term is always packed full of fun outings, activities and events, and as Covid restrictions continue to ease in Scotland, more and more of these special occasions have been able to go ahead, albeit outdoors and adhering to the latest guidelines.
