We are delighted to share that Eva S in Year 8 has been selected not once but twice more for publication in creative writing. This news marks Eva’s fifth submission, continuing her winning streak with 5/5 entries being chosen by Young Writers as winning pieces.
Eva’s submissions explore a story that is inspired by a number, told in just 100 words. Both of her mini-sagas will be published in a collection of anthologies with which a copy will remain in the National Archives of the British Library forever. A huge congratulations from all at St Leonards, Eva, this is an outstanding achievement.
Eva is part of the after-school Creative Writing Club run by Mrs Johnston. A group of pupils from Years 7-13 attend the club on a Monday evening to share their ideas, hone their writing skills and let their imaginations run wild. A big thank you to Mrs Johnston who continues to inspire our young learners to enjoy creative writing and produce outstanding pieces of poetry and prose.
