Pupils in Years 1 to 6 had a glorious day at the annual Sandcastle Competition on East Sands. The children were split into groups, with some planning out their ideas ahead of time. Once the competition commenced, the students got to work creating their designs. There were some truly impressive sculptures on display, including a mermaid, dolphin, turtle, octopus and shark!
