17.07.19 : Prizegiving Celebrations

The sun shone on St Andrews for our annual Prizegiving and Leavers’ Ceremony in the Younger Hall. It was a time of great celebration as our Year 13 students crossed the same stage as St Andrews University students to become St Leonards Seniors.

Guest speaker Clare Enders, founder of Enders Analysis, gave an inspirational speech, and families and friends heard from Headmaster, Dr Michael Carslaw, before the prizes were presented.

Awards were made for outstanding achievements by students throughout the Senior School and Sixth Form, and Prizegiving was a chance to celebrate and recognise each and every one.

The St Leonards Choir entertained, before guests left the venue to music on the pipes and drums, walking back to Big Field for delicious St Leonards strawberry tarts and drinks on the lawn.

The Leavers’ Ball followed at Fairmont St Andrews, serving as a final farewell to our Year 13s as they prepare for the next stage of their journey, be it university, college, a gap year or work experience.

We wish them all the very best and welcome them to our vibrant and friendly community of St Leonards Seniors!
