Supporting St Leonards for generations to come.

St Leonards is proud of its strong sense of community: Seniors, current pupils, staff, parents and Friends of St Leonards. Donations allow St Leonards to maintain its place as one of the leading independent schools in Scotland. To improve our buildings and facilities, and to enhance our beautiful campus in the heart of St Andrews, the School relies upon your support.

Seniors’ donations have, in the past, allowed the building of the Music School, Science buildings and the iconic Clock Tower. In 2012, they generously provided for the restoration of the Clock Tower Chimes, which had been silent for more than a decade. Other funds raised have provided significant support for the Bursary Fund which provides means-tested fee remissions, ensuring a St Leonards education is accessible to as many young people as possible.

Development is central to our vision for St Leonards’ exciting future as we look forward to the School’s 150th anniversary year in 2027.

We currently have an extensive and ongoing programme of refurbishment and development within the school.  Your donation will support both the conservation of our historical buildings and improved facilities for current and future pupils of St Leonards.

Every donation helps us to enhance our pupils' educational experience. We are currently seeking help in the following areas:

  • Performing Arts Centre
  • Boarding house refurbishment
  • Sports Facilities upgrade
  • Martha Hamilton Educational Travel Fund
  • Organ Restoration Fund
