St Leonards spotlight podcasts

The St Leonards Spotlight podcast series was launched in November 2018, with each episode shining the spotlight on a different area of school life, from the curricular to the co-curricular. Topics range from child and adolescent mental health and wellbeing to advice on choosing your GCSE and IB subject options.

In Episode 8, Mr Durward speaks to Katie Ferguson (Service Director at Respect Me) and Lisa Armstrong (Trainer at Respect Me) about anti-bullying and the role of Respect Me, Scotland's anti-bullying service. Episode 9 turns the spotlight on climate change.  Maya, Emily, Sal, Johanna, Peter, Kathryn and Sreeridhi are involved in running relevant initiatives in school, share their thoughts and opinions on the subject. This episode shines the spotlight on university applications and, in particular, the UCAS process. Mr Durward is joined by Mrs Pemberton-Hislop, Mr Seymour and St Leonards Senior Lauren Sandeman, who now works in the Admissions Department at the University of St Andrews.
