24.04.19 : Iceland Trip 2019

A group of Year 12 IB Geography students spent the first few days of the Spring Term holidays exploring Iceland, staying in Reykjavik and heading out on day trips to see the many breath-taking geographical features of the surrounding countryside and coastline.

They took in glaciers, geysers, volcanoes, coasts and waterfalls, and finished off an educational trip with a treat at Isbudin, an ice cream parlour to rival Jannettas! Pupils were fortunate with the weather, which was bright and clear – perfect for exploring much the landscape on foot!

Thank you to Miss Bennett, Mrs Pemberton-Hislop and Mr Hislop for accompanying the group.
