In celebration of the Harvest Festival, Years 1-6 have been encouraging others to reflect and be thankful for what we have.
Our Year 5 pupils have been learning about food banks and how we can support St Andrews Storehouse via food bank donations. The pupils shared their knowledge with peers and parents during Harvest Assembly encouraging others to give where they can.
During the assembly, a new Island initiative was introduced, announcing that the Junior School reception would become a collection point for food bank donations. Pupils are encouraged to donate, with every contribution collecting a point for their allocated Island.
Thank you to all families who have already donated food to support St Andrews Storehouse. It has been wonderful to see the local community coming together to support those in need. We will continue to collect food bank contributions throughout the coming months so please do keep bringing in what you can!
