Our parents describe St Leonards as a "unique place" – what other school in the UK enjoys a more perfect setting?

Where else can you stroll through a campus that has served as a place of learning since the 16th century, past impressive ruins of a medieval cathedral, along glorious blue flag beaches and on to the first tee of the most famous golf course in the world?

Set on Scotland’s beautiful Fife coastline, St Andrews is world renowned for its University, its status as “the home of golf”, its historic sites and its charming outlook – all of which our pupils can enjoy. Our pupils engage within an inspirational community that is a celebrated university town – to which scholars from across the globe come to share ideas,  giving our pupils a sense of internationalism and culture.

The School is fortunate to enjoy close links with St Andrews University, exemplified by the annual appointment of an Associate Researcher to guide our pupils on the world of research. Find out more within our International Baccalaureate Diploma page.

A cosmopolitan town that is small enough to get to know intimately and yet large enough to provide all the facilities that young people can enjoy,  St Andrews provides a stimulating and safe haven in which to learn.
